「三讓徐州」是《三國演義》中的情節，講述徐州牧陶謙因自認無力抵抗曹操且年事已高，先後三次主動將徐州的統治權讓給劉備，而劉備基於道義屢次推辭，最終在陶謙病逝、眾人苦勸下才接掌徐州的故事。
“Liu Bei’s Three Refusals of Xuzhou” is an episode from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It tells the story of Tao Qian, Governor of Xuzhou, who, believing himself unable to resist Cao Cao and being advanced in age, offers the governance of Xuzhou to Liu Bei three times. Liu Bei repeatedly declines out of moral principle. Only after Tao Qian’s death and repeated appeals from the people and officials does Liu Bei finally agree to take charge of Xuzhou.
