Zodiac Guardian for the Dragon and Snake — a symbol of virtue in principle and practice. Samantabhadra Bodhisattva represents the fulfillment of vows through practice and action. It is believed to help fulfill one’s greatest aspirations, overcome obstacles and ill-intentioned people, and is invoked to pray for greater leadership authority, longevity, and well-being.
This artwork is created through calligraphic rendering of the “Chapter on the Practices and Vows of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva” from the Avataṃsaka Sutra and the Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Dharani Sutra.
